Unhappy Alloy Wheel Repair

My spouse ran our beautiful 17" MBZ wheel into the curve. There are scratches and dents.

I am wondering if a product exist that I can purchase to restore the wheel. I am interested in sanding the areas that are dinged and then apply the clear coat to make it look nice.

I have seen wheel repairs but will have to ship somewhere to get them repaired....

It depends on the depth of the dents. If they are deaper than sanding can make them disappear, my guess is, forget them, since they may have lost the physical properties and sizes. Bigger dents can also cause cracks in the alloy you want see yet. If you talking about scratches only, sanding and recoating will fix the problem of corrossion, but they would never look as they looked new. If you are looking for a solution which makes the mishap of your wife forgotten, take them to the pros. Otherwise every day you walk around your car you'll see it again, and it will bug you!
