Removal of tire pressure monitor's effect peformance?

Removal of tire pressure monitor's effect peformance?

By removing the tire pressure monitor's, and installing aftermarket rims effect performance in terms of the way the car rides, shifts, ect. Will this screw up the computer??

You are not stating whether you are changing size on the aftermarket wheels, wheel weight, tire size, etc. All of that is needed.

Removing the TPMS sensors will get you nothing but an irritating alarm on your dash that will not go away. It has nothing else to do with any of the items of concern you mentioned.

FYI. I don't know what would be your motive for removing them, but they will fit most aftermarket rims, if not, you can purchase some that will. they runs about $350 a set from tire rack.

Is it just in the valve stem? Or do I have to remove tires and place them on my new wheels.
The wheels are Lowenhart LDR's.

No. The sensors are mounted to the stems. You should make sure the LDr wheel will accommodate the OEM sensors otherwise you have to buy new ones.

depends on the weather
not all wheels are designed to properly accpet the sensors so, be careful with your selection
