What would you do?
If you had a pair of worn tires and a pair of almost new tires, as a result of replacing damaged originals one at a time, would you buy a new set of 4 at one time, or would you not mind buying a new pair and running 2 brands?
I have pretty new F1s on 2 wheels, and I hate to ditch them just to replace the worn pair. I am not buying Goodyears again.

Running different brands is not a good idea. The tread pattern is different, you car will not handle very well.

My recommendation: Consider tires being your life insurance driving on the roads amongst you dont know what. Than calculate the tire cost and divide it by the life span and then you'll find out: quite cheap life insurance.
I would never take a risk with tires!!!!!
