Bought Aftermarket Wheels...now they wont fit

I think I am going to. 200 isnt much, but he did give false advertising. What can ebay do besides give him a red flag? Also, I dont want to get him in trouble through ebay, and then have him not give me my partial refund because of it. last time i buy wheels from ebay!

I bought 17" rial wheels fromthe same seller on eBay which did not clear my CLK500's big brakes. He insisted that the wheels will fit properly with centering rings and spacers. I paid $175 for spacers from local vendor but the wheels still did not fit. The seller refused to refund unless I pay the shipping and restocking fee. I ended up selling the wheels on craig's list taking $275 loss ($100 loss on wheels and tires and $175 on spacers). NEVER buy from this vendor or eBay again as far as wheels are concerned.

have you thought aboutstopping payment on the credit card used for ther transaction? That will get his attention

Wheel fitment is much too specialized for an ebay seller to understand. Most of their 'power sellers' don't even touch the merchandise, let alone have knowledge about the specifics. I sent one a question about dimensions for a trim piece I needed, and he replied "we don't know, it is the same size as the one on your car"

my paypal account was locked because i had not yet verified it, and was in the process of going through that arduous process (anyone who has tried to unlock their account knows what a pain it is).
anyway, lesson learned, never buy something that valuable from ebay...my fault for trying to save a few bucks.
