Question Eibach Pro-System- e-class?

Want to know if any body has had any experience with the Eibach Pro-System (p/n 2557.780) for the V-8 Eclass. It is a Coil and Dampener set that was supposedly designed to work together and offer a good ride when used as a set. (comfort) Price for the set seems to be in the 600-800 range. I'm looking to find the most comfortable ride while lowering the car apx. 1.2-1.7 inches/ w 18' rims. Started on the path of H&R springs only and now I'm figuring just do it right the first time. I also know that other companies make similar paired sets at a substantially higher price but I'm looking for feedback from a shop who may have installed the eibach set in addition to other sets or anybody w/ first hand knowledge.

Eibach will only lower 1 inch, no way to 1.7inch. Just go with H&R spring and Koni adjustables. I've been really pleased with this setup. The Koni's are adjustable so the ride harshness can be adjusted for your needs. I've also heard H&R springs are better quality than Eibach.

You missed out on the Vogtland sale...They drop the front 1.6 and also go great with the Koni.

Also, the Vogtland and Koni here have free shipping.

Tarik,
The dimensions I gathered were from their website and I know that pads can also affect the total. Having seen some photos and reading some of the feedback from other suspension threads, now I'm not too sure that 1.7 is what I want. I'm really trying to just get about an inch delta and no more. But thanx for your feedback.

Kwik,

Yeah I missed it, now for the regular price of the Vogtlands, there are many similar close options; eibach, vogtland, H&R..and as you all know, all with there pro's and Con's...Thanx for your feedback aswell!

In the end, I may the guinea (sp?) pig for the Eibach Pro-system, no one else seems to have experience w/ the kit and I've read that it is a very well matched set-up.

I'll post feed back If I go this route.

If you have not purchased yet, there is a Koni Group Buy happening now.
