is my tire new?
Just got a replacement tire. Store said it was new.. but I am a bit suspicious. The tire does not have the traditional blue or red lines on the tread of all the typically new tires I have had. Instead, the tread has some white writing... stamped numbers. The sidewall has one red dot and one yellow. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Despite age, I was curious to know about if it was ever reconditioned or such.
Its a Yokohama Geolander. According to one tire place, the new Geolander comes with markings as stated... white writing on tread. Hopefully a tire expert here can chime in.

Thanks Luke! I was thrown off by the white writing on the tread. Never saw that before. But again, the tire guy said "Thats how new yokohama Geolanders come now."
