Brake Pads
Anybody know of a solution for the perenial problem of brake dust? Got 18" chrome AMGs on my SL600 and would like to replace the OEM pads with something else that reduces the brake dust, won't ruin the rotors and DOES have brake sensors.

I can't stand the dust from oem pad. It dirty my rim just a day after I wash it. With R4S pad it just light dust after a week. I have Porterfield R4S. I think it pay off when you follow the instruction for prep the rotors and brake in period correctly.

.......I hav sd ever possible bad pad in my bid to avoid both brake dust and brake noise. You will hate he RS4 becaus it des squeel, no mtter what you do..........even if you use anti-nois paste and also brake the pads in correctly. I had settld on just accepting the dust with the OEM pads, but then I got the EBC green stuff pads.........so far no dust and no noise.

I have to disagree with the noise from R4S!! I never hear any noise from R4S at all from normal stop. I heard them once when I have to slam on the brake but that is it. I spend almost an hour per wheel, sand the rotor, spray it and put grease on the back of the pad. Anybody want to back me up on these ?
