can i jack car up by the diff???

can i jack car up by the diff???
06 c350, plan to lift rear by floor jack on diff, then set down on stands at the mb designated jack locations,,,, im lazy, what can i say,,,, thanx for info, mike

haven't found or heard of a car yet that can't be jacked on the rear diff. Jack it up then, drop it onto the jackstands on the support points.
