W124 in need of HELP

I am looking to put Brabus monoblock VI 18x8.5 ET35mm on my 1990 300E. I am ok with rolling the fenders but i want to know if these will fit on my car. I would like 225 40ZR18 for tires but am looking at 215 40 ZR18 if I have to to make them fit. I have also lowered my car with intrax springs but am not sure which # pads I have (understanding that there is adjustability in height with pads and springs in my car) Right now I am running 17x7.5(?) AMG mono II's from a C36 with 215 45 17's and have no problems....please advise if you can I'd appreciate it greatly.
