need a quick answer...

im trading 17" monos for 18" monos and the tires on the 18" are 245 in the front and 275 on the rears. 18x8 18x9 et31 et35

they fit on his clk and i believe were on a sl.

the car is a c43 stock height.

can i run these just to get home from the swap?...3hr drive.

i know when i lower it they wont stuff.

depends on the weather
wheel specs are appropriate for your car but, not the tires

the tire sizes you need are 225/40-18 front and 255/35-18 rear

correct... i know that. the question is on a stock height car and a three hour drive will it work?

..and i have heard guys running 235/35 and 265/40 and no rubbing. is that true?

depends on the weather
235/265 would be really tight but might work with some tweaking of the alignment (more negative camber)

just to give a heads up...i drove to portland with the stock 17", and traded for the 18" with 245/40 and 275/35 and they fit and dont rub.
