Do the new E55 rims fit on any older Mercedes

I was specifically wondering for a 2002 CLK430 or 2001 E320. With the CLK, could you use the existing tires or have to swap them out for smaller ones?

The wheels for the 2003 W211 E55 which is due at the dealership this April or May will have 18X8.0 front and 18X9.0 rear AMG Double Spoke wheels. They will not fit any other Mercedes chassis at all.

The Double Spoke wheels that fit the 2002 CLK and 2001 E-Class are 18X7.5 and 18X8.5 rear.

The front 245/40/18 tire is too wide for either and the 265/35/18 tire will fit the 2001 E-Class on the 18X8.5 rim.

Which 18x7.5 and 18x8.5 double spokes are you talking about. Do they look like the new E55 double spoke rims? I know that the old E55 had 18x8 and 18x9 rims and I was under the impression that I could have bolted those older rims and their respective tires onto my 2001 E320. The fronts were 245x40x18 and the backs were 275x35x18 on the old rims by the way. How do those new rims differ?

The AMG Double Spoke wheels for the W211 E55 will not fit the W210 or W209 or W208 or W202 becuse if requires 14mm lug bolts. The above mentioned chassis' use 12mm bolts. You would have to have your brake rotors lug holes modified in order to use the 14mm bolts.

If you want the same wheel wheel as the 2003 E55, the AMG Double Spoke comes in 18X7.5 and 18X8.5 sizes to use on W210, W209, W208 and W203.

Yes the AMG Monoblock II wheels found on the 1999-2002 E55 will fit the 2001 E320, however, the E55 tire size 'may' be too wide. Usually in order to use the 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear you may have to modify your fenders by rolling the fender lips. THe E55 fenders are modified at the factory.

The recommendation is too use 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear for the W210 E320. Good Luck.

I have viewed many internet AMG sources and only one company lists the Double Spokes in those fitments - www.statusimports.com
