235/35/19 tire on 19X9 Giovanna ESSEN too streched?? :(
Hey, I got these rims last week for a steal price. Giovanna Essens, 19 by 9 wide, used in triple chrome.
I know this is wide to be putting on the front, but is it even safe? It fits fine with the 5 mm spacer I got with it. They dont stick out, and no rubbing.
But, the tire I have on it is 235. and its a 9 inch wide rim. Will this tire be DANGEROUS and fall off because it is kinda streached lookin. Im afraid it is bad to be drivin with it. They are FALKEn tires
I dont have the rims on yet, waitin for the weather to get good.

It's not recommended to ride 235/35/19 on a 9" rim, but it's ok to do so. It's safe, but just not as safe as riding on a 265/30/19. Currently I'm running 235/35/19 on a 8.5" rim and it looks fine, and also a 245/35/19 on a 9.5". It looks stretched a lot but it works. The obvious downside is that the rubber stretching will not offer such great rim protection.

How sensitive are 19's to road hazards?
There are potholes from winter, so hopefully they patch soon b4 i put the whls on.
I just am concerned it will leave me with many blowouts, such little tire! !

Well, sell those tires and get some 265 or 275s in there, that should look much better and will be much safer forcornering hard and potholes. Then you'll be ready to bling bling away!
