Another Wheel/Rim Question
All these talk about upgrading rim and wheel led me to a question. Lets say I have an original w209 with OME 16in rim. If one day I upgrade my rim to 17in, can I still use my OME spare in an emergency???
Also if I get the maufacture's 17in rim (For example, the appearance package) for the 320CLK, would MB give me a different type of spare then the one for the original 320CLK with 16in rim????
Thanks

It does not matter if you upgrade to 20" rims the spare will stay the same.
I was just worried that if the difference is too great that the car will just drift in certain direction, and make it unsafe to drive, or even blow the spare. Then again, after I read the forum, some people dont even have spares in their car, especially Tele-Aid is a standard feature now too.
225/45-17 = 25" diameter
245/45-17 = 25"
225/40-18 = 25"
255/35-18 = 25"
the CLK with 17" that is upgraded to 18" still maintains the same overall diameter and the spare (even a donut type) will have the same diameter
