Zimmermann Cross-drilled rotors?
I was wondering how good are the Zimmermann Cross-Drilled rotos(disc) for the E430. Part # N1000-66184
I wonder if they also make a cross-drilled for the rear?
Also do I need a different type of brake pads for cross-drilled rotors?

I have them on my CLK and have been happy with them. Not to much press on them in the Benz circle but Porsche owners like them. Less expensive than Brembos and decent quality. I'd have them cad plated though so the rust doesn't show. They do make rear applications and from what I've read, pads can make a difference. The harder the pads, the harder they are on your rotors. Potentially leading to a greater likelyhood of cracking. I'm using Porterfield pads.

Good question. I would rather have the E55 disc size on my E430 than the stock size. However I went to Zimmermann's website, it doesn't have a catalog of what they make....
if you are interested in their website it's here.
