Issues with this ? most wheels are staggered but on 4matic how paramount is it to the front and rear matching in diameter ?? isnt there a formula to get same diameter or within tolerance so that you can have normal 8.5" front and 9 or 9.5" in rear ??

Actually its just simple math to do the calculations. Or you can look up the relevant info on a tire spec page. The tirerack has links to those on their site.
