vogtlandvs eibach springs and with what set of shocks?

hey. i want to know what is the difference between vogtland or eibach springs. i see both advertising a 1.2" drop. i know the vogtland is a tuv approved spring. but thats about it.

i dont really want anything aggressive as i will most likely carry weight in the rear. if i do, i dont want it to rub or want to purchase camber arms to relieve such negative camber that h&rs give.

so please give me your insight on the springs? and what shocks do i get? im torn between koni yellows, fsd, or bilstein HD. keep in mind, i do moderate commuting and no autox. and occasionally have weight(sub+amps) and other ppl in the back.

I was under the impression that Vogtlands give a more aggressive drop than H&R.

Eibach offers the most moderate drop out of all these options, and get Bilsteins Sports.

i was under that impression too. but a member with the same car said that his only dropped to 1.2" after driving 1300 miles with them. i get a lot of mixed views. but for the CLK, it seems like 1.2"

and you can see it in the pics as well. odd, i know

I'm guessing you have a 209?

http://www.vogtlandsuspension.com/p1...duct_info.html

That's for a 209; their website states approx. a 1.4" (35mm) drop on all corners and I believe that's their standard drop for all their MB applications.

http://hrsprings.com/scripts/appguid...ind3&MakeID=25

H&R says 1.4 in the front, 1.3 in the back (though if you have a cab their stated drop is 1.3 in the front, 1.1 in the rear).

http://performance-suspension.eibach...cation_look_up

Eibach has 1.2 on all corners.

I'm still confident that post settling, Vogtlands are slightly lower than H&Rs. You also will want to research ride quality between Vogtlands and H&R--I wouldn't even consider Eibach unless you want a very mild drop.
