235/35/19 tire on 9 inch wide rim it FELL OFF
Hi,
Ive been runnin on Giovanna 19 by 9 Essens in chrome. I got them preowned in february..
I am wondering if it was normal for one of the tires to come off while driving exteremly slow. It just came off the bead, and luckily I changed it or else I would have damaged the wheel. This tire looks streched on 9 inch wheel, but is it safe to run??
I had the tire remounted on the rim, but would a defective tire cause the bead to break? It was cold weather and the tire shop said this could be the cause but I am confused what to do.
These wheels are on a C coupe BTW

depends on the weather
a 235/35-19 shouldn't have any issues when mounted on a 9" wheel ...they can actually be installed on a 9.5" wheel ... it sounds to me like a sudden loss of pressure while driving was the cause
