Question about sidewall...
The wider you go on tire size, the taller the sidewall is? Is this correct? And vice versa? Just need clarification.

depends on the weather
255/35-18
255 x .35 = 89.25mm (sidewall weight)
275/35-18
275 x .35 = 96.25mm (sidewall height)
so, yes a wider tire with the same aspect ratio will be taller

You can swap your wheels I tired for some an inch or two wider and it will not affect the sidewalls at all.
