I have just upgraded my rear tyres to 275's from the standard 265 which has no problems. I am not sure as to whether to put 245/40's back on the front or upgrade to a 255.
Does anyone know if there are any rubbing/clearance problems running a 255 on the front of the new E?
I am using the tyres on the new car as replacement rubber on my old E55 which is being sold, so I need to make a quick decision as to what tyre size to order.
I was also concerned about running a 255 on an 8" rim,but Ferrari do it on the 575M so it can't be all that bad.

Stick with the 245/40/18 & 275/35/18. Go 255/40/18 when you go 285/35/18 in rear or go to 19's.

Thanks guys. I got excited when I found out the Ferrari 575M runs a 255/40/18 on an 8" front. My local tyre guy advised me that it did not meet Aust Design Regs and therefore could cause a problem with insurance in the event of an accident.
