2007 CLS tire size questio

I recently in a pinch had to put 255/40/18 on the front two, when i went to get the matching rear 285/35/18 they are discontinued.

Can i put either 275/40/18 or 295/35/18 on my 18x9.5 AMG 5 spoike rims? I like the back tire sidewall to be slightly bigger then the fronts if possible.

BTW..my car is a 2007 cls with p2 and amg sports package

Great, so the 275/40/18 will fit the rear and the tire height won't be a problem?

You need to make sure the OD of both F & R are close, no more than 1" difference.

Yes you're good to go as tires are within 0.7" front to rear.
