Carlsson wheels messed up by discount tire story
Edit: From Ronal's website:
Companies like Lorinser, Brabus, Alpina, AC Schnitzer, Hartge, Carlsson, Oettinger, Irmscher, Steinmetz, Nothelle and others all bear the Ronal logo!

So, it does look like they are my wheels, but Wheels America machined the whole face! Why I don't know, will machining that much risk the integrity of the wheel?
Their answer was, OK, drive on these wheels for 6 weeks, once the OZs get here (they are still in production) we'll take your front wheels and fully refund you the cost on them towards the OZs.
That is what I've always liked about discount tire, they always come thru for the customer. (I've been going to this same store for the last 7 years, manager knows me really well too,I've bought most my tires there and 3 sets of wheels for other vehicles there, that might've helped too)
ronal is the manufacturer of brabus rims, so i wouldnt be suprised if it was the manufacturer of carlsson as well.
if the center cap is raised.... just push it in more!
they machined it down till the carlsson logo is no longer there? that is kinda unlikely.
My theory is that somehow they messed the face and decided to machine is and not say anything hoping I wouldn't notice.

Not going with the OZ's after all because I can't spend the extra cash right now, we are going on vacation plus I have another project (non car related) coming up.
I was wondering if you think the Carlsson 1/5 will fit a new C-class. I've read conflicting ideas about their hub-centricity. Are they hubcentric on your E55? Would they be on a C230 as well? I was thinking about buying them from eBay and wanted to do some homework before jumping in.
Thanks for your help.
