I heard in Singapore, they tax you by the size of your engine. If you had a 6 litre V12, it would be a killer amount, right? The only thing I remember in Singapore was it's HOT there day and night!

well, sad to say you are correct on both count. if you have a 6L car, be ready to pay an annual road tax of about S$9000 which works out to be something like ~USD5000 per year.

First time I ever been to one was I really did needed a haircut. So my friend who was in Taipei for a few weeks before me suggested me to try that place. I walked in and felt a little bit strange the way the ladies dressed. But what the hell, I didn't have much time to do anything about it, a haircut was a haircut, right? Well, partly. Afterward, she put her hand on my leg and asked if I wanted a special. What the F..k???!!! I just paid her and left wihtout any incident. But when I walked outside, there was a small line of men waiting for their turns!!!!! And my friend was laughing his head out in the street. :o
