Luke - Help on Staggered 18" setup, Pirelli Nero???
I'm planning on putting 18" staggered wheels (18x7.5/18x8.5) on my car, and I was wondering, is it ok to use the same size tire for all 4 wheels? Say, like 225/40 on all 4 corners? I'm only considering this so I have more options open in terms of tire selection.
Lastly, Has anyone here tried the Pirelli PZero Nero tires? How good are they? The tirerack review/test sure had them right with the Pilot Sports(my current tire) & the S0-3s...
Oh, and this is thread is not just for Luke, I welcome everyone's thoughts and comments. Thanks in advance!

depends on the weather
I would strongly advise against the same tire size on all four corners since you wheels are staggered because of the different rate of sidewall deflection when cornering .... the Nero's are a very nice progression in the p-Zero tire line with outstanding compromises between steering response and ride quality

Also, in your Max Performance section, where would you place the Nero?
1.)S-03 Pole Position
2.)Pilot Sport
3.)S-02 Pole Position (discontinued)
4.)AVS Sport
5.)P-Zero Rosso
In addition, under Ultra High Performance, where does the AVS ES-100 belong?
1.) Firehawk SZ50 EP
2.) Potenza RE730's
3.) A520
4.) G-Force KDW
5.) Sport 8000
6.) HTR Z II
And lastly, do you think 235/40/18 Front and 265/35/18 would rub against my fenders since it is lowered about 2" (Brabus suspension & #1 pads all around)
Thanks! Didn't mean to bombard you with so many questions, but you are the foremost expert about tires here.

I guess I need to update the "best tires" list .....
Max Performance
1.)S-03 Pole Position
2.) Eagle F1 GS-D3
3.)Pilot Sport
4.)P-Zero Nero
5.)AVS Sport
Ultra High Performance
1.) Firehawk SZ50 EP
2.) Potenza RE750
3.) G-Force KDW
4.) AVS ES100
5.) HTR Z II
and I think you would need some fender work to do the 235/265 combo
