Replacing Door Pins

Guys,
I am planning to replace the door pins on my 2004, C230 with some slick AMG or MB logo-ed pins. The stock black ones really look dorky. Anyone do this before? I understand the ones for the back doors are difficult.

Jeff.

It is done all the time. Do It!

Use a dab of RTV silicone to hold the rear pins on.

I have the AMG logo SS pins.

OK, so it is done all the time. But I think the OP was asking how. Do the pins just unscrew or is there some other method for removal & replacement?

I would like to know too.

Thanks.

The front pins screw on/off. The rear door pins pop on and off for the OEM but the replacement pics do not pop back on as tight as they should and need to be held in place with some sort of adhesive.
