Will sl63 style wheels fit my w209 clk55? Help!

Please help. I've bought some wheels for my w209 clk55. They are 225/35/19 and 265/35/19 with an et42 offset. Standard offfset on my 18's are front 37 and rear 30. Would I be right in thinking I could use a 5mm spacer on the front and a 12-15 spacer on the rear? I'll use high quality hubcentric and I'm worried about nothing other than will they fit without rubbing?

I've never seen 5mm in hubcentric before so you may have to get larger than 5mm in the front.

I'm no wheel expert but your logic is sound, I would think they will fit fine with spacers. Should wait on more confirmation though probably

Nathan you need to read up on offset more since you don't indicate widths too, it measures distance from the centerline of the wheel to the mounting surface. Brake clearance mostly depends on spoke design or disk type but offset and widths together will tell you if it will fit under your fenders or clear your brakes in some situations. You are likely ok bc 42 is pretty conservative and maybe the widths are too. Good news is with higher offsets you can generally add spacers.

depends on the weather
while I am not a fan of spacers in general for many reasons I am just throwing this information out there

the front hub extension on your car is approximately 9.5 millimeters with a tapered end. When you use a 5mm spacer you will still get about 3mm of hub engagement. You also need to make sure you get longer lug bolts as well
