Anyone using Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 ALL SEASON TIRES

Would like to try them but with my car being tuned and pushing around ~600whp am sort of curious to know how the grip will be off the line?? I would favor them for all season purpose (NY here).

Tires are newly released from Michelin

Pilot® Sport A/S 3
Ultra-High Performance Sport
ALL SEASON TIRE

I have them on my E550. Can't tell you much about that kind of power, but after 7.5k miles, I have to say they are quite nice. I don't know which car you have, but if it is RWD, I'd recommend winter tires and then the Pilot Super Sport summer version for all other seasons.

Yes my car is RWD. The thing is I don't drive it that much on winter. Its more like a weekend car but if im out I don't want to get stuck somewhere and these summer tires do not perform well under lets say 40 degrees F.

depends on the weather
Here's a review I recently put on TIRERACK.com. I just had a set of these new Michelin's put on my own car. It is early fall and needed to changed out of my summer performance tires into something more compatible with the cooler autumn temps. The Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 promised great handling and ride quality with all-season capability. Driving a sports car on summer performance tires can really spoil you when it comes to handling expectations and I can happily report that these tires do live up to the hype. The turn in and responsiveness is incredible considering that it's an all season tire. The wet traction is remarkable. They were very well composed with zero hydroplaning issues at highway speeds in a couple of very hard rain storms. I did drive them on a very icy morning and while, not nearly as capable as a winter tire, I found them to be very stable and predictable when dealing with the slippery over passes. Treadwear is still an unknown but, so far I am impressed. Well done Michelin, you have a winner with the new Pilot Sport AS3 and I would highly recommend them. I can't wait to see how they do in the snow. #PSAS3

Took mine about 4k to really start to come alive. Now I am enjoying them a lot more. So far I have 7.5k miles on my tires and am waiting for my first snow adventure to write a review.

Have driven the old A/S tires on the SL55 and have been disappointed. The car at stock power levels overcomes the grip level of the tires in my opinion and it's very hard to accelerate and maintain traction as you can feel the tires slip constantly as they struggle to cope. It's no surprise given the high tread wear rating and hard compound. I'm not sure if this version 3 is any different but I would stick with summer tires if you are in a warm enough climate, especially at your power levels you particularly NEED grip or all that power is completely useless. Michelin Pilot Super Sport is the clear winner.

Nevermind, just saw you were in NY and I'm really comparing them to summer tires anyway...

I just purchased the Michelin Sport A/S 3 for my 2010 E550 rear drive sedan. The tires perform very well in dry conditions, but had a chance to try them in the Chicago snow this week. Temps were in the low teens and the fresh snow was 3 inches deep with slush underneath. The tires gripped and stopped well, just had to be careful not to accelerate too quickly with the 550 engine or I would spin the tires. Good traction when accelerating slowly from a stop (recommended in any snow). These tires are superior to the Pirelli P-Zero Nero A/S tires that were original equipment. Excellent stopping in wet or dry conditions. Michelin has an exceptional all season tire in the Pilot Sport A/S 3.
