Extra Load tires for '04 E55.

Hi...

I'm looking to switch the ContiSport 2 OEM tires on my '04 E55 for either Michelin Pilot Sport 2 or Bridgestore SO-3s...

I notice that manual mentions something about Extra Load tires (Conti's have this "MO" designation)...

I'm guessing the sidewalls are stiffer...is this something I should worry about? I hardly ever get anyone in the back seat if that matters.

Also, is it possible to mount a wider front to counter some of the understeer...maybe 255 front and 265 or 275 rear?

depends on the weather

the XL tires for the rear of the car are important not only for load capacity but, for extended high speed use .... it's a heat issue ....

currently there are only 3 tires that meet that requirement
