Off-topic: but uh oh
I found this crack on this sister's 323ci, on the rear tire.. she commutes everyday about 30 miles on the interstate to work.. is this something to worry about?

The sidewall is vital to a tire. I had some damage to one few years ago and that's what I was told by the tire shop.

depends on the weather
I would recommend 2 things ...

#1.) replace the tire
#2.) tell her to quit hitting potholes and curbs
