tirerack shipping to Canada questions
I'm in Toronto, Canada. Saw a few things I like from tirerack, but I'm concerned about the shipping + other cost. Does anyone know what costs are associated with getting a set of wheels/tires. I was told by a shop that he bought car parts from US and the price almost double when they arrived at his door (shipping, brokerage/duty, etc). Thanks

You have to pay GST, PST, Brokerage Fee. Lets say yr item is US$1000 (it's about CAD$1,600) +GST 7%+PST 8%+Brokerage Fee (I THINK its 2%, not 100% sure).....so you'll ended up be paying around US$1,160. Whether its worth it or not depends on how much you like yr tires/wheels!
