CLK wheels

I tried putting the chrome rims I had on my w124 300E on my w208 CLK today and apparently I either need spacers or shorter lug bolts. The wheels are 18x8.5 and have an offset of +38 The wheels are wrapped in 225/40/18 tires. Could anyone tell me what size spacers I need or what size lug bolts I need and where I can get them from? Thanks in advance.
P.S. I am dropping my car w/ H&R cup kit this weekend if that makes a difference.

depends on the weather
why didn't they fit ..... the offset seems a little high and you could use a 5mm spacer because most 8.5's for a W208 have an offset between 30 - 35

They don't fit because The lug bolts are too long and the thread on the bolt goes all the way through and is loose. They don't hold the wheel on the hub. Do I only need spacers for the front? And do you sell them because I would like to purchase them if they will make the wheels work, Thanks Luke.

I would just get shorter bolts if that's all that's holding you up from getting them on

Do you sell the shorter bolts and will the rims fit the car right with just shorter bolts? Thanks
