got a question about steel rims. i looked up for the recommended 16" Steel rims For W205 are the 6J x 16 ET36.5 rims ( like all the European TAXI bone stock looking C or E class and i am going for that practical robust look). SO my question is will it fit other MB wheels eg; C-Klasse W204 uses a 7J x 16 ET43, for Ref: Alcar steel wheels 9892 its basically wider with offset of 43mm instead of a 36mm. i currently have a set of 19" but wanted a set of steelies so i could drive with less care and a bit smoother rides. anyone with an answer to this silly question?
