I am currently using Pilots on the stock 16" rims of my CLK 320 (99). I am now on assignment in Toronto Canada and find that these great performance tires are terrible on the heavily rutted highways and side roads up here. I have to keep both hands on the wheel and pay extra attention because you can suddenly be pulled into the next lane if you drift to the edge of these ruts. During the winter, with my Blizacks, the problem is far less severe. Can you recommend a summer tire that is more tolerant of these ruts? Given that there is little opportunity for spirited cornering up here, I don't think high performance is absolutely necessary. Thanks for your consideration and help.
