Need to make these AMG wheels fit somehow!
I have a 2002 CLK55 AMG coupe. By mistake, I purchased (4) 18x8.5" AMG Monoblock wheels with offset ET47 (made for a W140 S Class) . I need offset to be ET31 front and ET35 rear. How can I make these wheels fit on my car without doing damage? I heard about spacers and different bolts, but I have no clue where to start. Returning the wheels is not an option anymore. Thanks in advance for all your help in this.

depends on the weather
s-class wheels utilize 14mm lughardware with a 14mm radius ball seat .. your clk on th eother hand uses 12mm lughardware with a 12mm radius ball seat ... in short they will not fit properly

As Luke has indicated, fitting these wheels is probably not the best way to go.
Most "franchise chain" tire/wheel stores will not touch this at all.
If you really want to do this, then, you will have to find some sort of small, "bling bling", type of car customizer shop. The kind that specializes in putting the "dub" on to any car. From there, they can probably fix you up with a a set of custom billet wheel adapters. This would allow you to bolt the adapter on to your car with your stock 12mm lug bolts, there would be a second set of threaded hole between the lug bolts. These could be drilled for 14mm lug bolts. Then you could mount this wheel to your car. To do all of this, the adapter might be too wide and the wheels may stick out.
I would sell on Ebay and find a different set.
