has anyone changed rims on w211 4matics?

has anyone changed rims on w211 4matics?
as general consensus seems to show that 4matics do not allow for staggered rim setup, i was wondering if anyone has replaced wheels on their 4matics?
let me know your choice if so and pics always help. i want to put snows on my factory sport wheels and upgrade summer wheel/tire combo. help appreciated!!
