Staggered wheels question

Hi everyone, just a quick question regarding staggered wheel set up.
i have a friend who is a Mercedes mechanic, I contacted him recently to ask if it was possible to remove a tyre pressure warning issue, as I have put a set of 19” wheels on my Mercedes Estate that are not staggered and do not have tpm valves in them ( they were fitted to my Audi with no issues).
He advised it was not possible and to change the valves, however, he also said that not having staggered wheels on will cause brake vibration eventually, as the discs are on a floating hub and will distort if there is ANY displacement on the wheel.
He is normally correct, but would like anyone else’s input.
Thanks
