12mm lug bolts, 15mm rim holes
New Replika rims I purchased for 98 E320 have 15mm lug bolt holes. My OE rims are 13mm. New rims apparently have R13 ball sockets (i have asked for confirmation). Rims are hub-centric. https://fastco.ca/Replika/Alloy-Whee...ish=R169%7CSIL
What do you think about using 12mm bolts through 15mm rim holes?
OE bolts are too long, so I will be getting a shorter set (28mm) and they will have proper ball radius, so that won't be a concern. It's just the ovversized holes that concern me.
Are sleeves ever used or perhaps special bolts with 14mm straight shank stepped down to 12x1.5 thread?
Trying to get better educated on subject before talking to wheel people on Monday!

Have progressed from when I posted. Fast/Replika have sent me two sets of bolts. 12x1.5x28 R12 and 12x1.5x28 R13. To me they look like the same bolts, but without a gauge to measure them can't be sure. I cut down the original set to 27mm - they measured 29mm and they caught on the parking brake. The second set measured about 28.5. Both sets may have been same length but both interfered with the e-brake. I wasn't convinced the bolts were correct, so I ordered a set from Tunershop in Germany. They are 12x1.5x26mm R13 as used on some Audis, Seats and some other euro cars.
None of the bolts I have, either OE or aftermarket have any indication of the ball radius. You would think they might be stamped with some code? There is an F on the Tunershop bolts.
Has anyone come up with a simple way to measure ball head radius? Seems some type of gauge would be needed.
