Smile Luke: Need your opinion

Hey Luke,

The w220 is due for new tires...three out of four are pretty much at the wear bars now (why one of them are still pretty good I dunno why)

anyways, I was looking at these: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....rtnum=26VR6CEC

how are they treadwear / ride / quietness / handling wise? do you recommend this tire?

Thanks Luke!

man, I thought putting Luke's name in the post would speed up the reply! maybe my bump will put it up top when he gets back from Cancun. even with the new A4, you still puttin' sneakers on the 220? it's like a veritable Berlin auto show over at your house!

depends on the weather
I am not a big fana of the Continental Extreme Contact because I have had too many complaints of out of round tires .... take a look into the AVS DB S2 from Yokohama or the Turanza LS

I just ordered the Yokohama V4s from tirerack.com last night. I put your name as a contact Luke.

I hope these turn out good...from the ratings, seems like an excellent all round tire

one quick question Luke. Seems like the CH95's are 98H and the V4S are 97V...i know those are load ratings...should be OK, right with the 97 load raing? I think it's a difference of 50 lbs?

you'll be fine with that load rating ...... afterall the recommended pressure does not even achieve max load capacity for the 98 index

awsome. Thanks for the help Luke, much appreciated

btw, I also ordered a set of Yoko Avid Touring's for our company 2002 Dodge Caravan. I hope these are much better than the OE Goodyear Integrity.
