I'm ordering a set of 20X9 HR AJ200s for my 2004ML350. They're recommending a 265/35/20. That doesn't sound right to me. They have a "book" they're basing it on. Tirerack reccommends 295/40/20s. Whose right?
What sizes can I use?

ok lets look at the facts

fact #1.) after examning the evidence you "guy" doesn't know what he is talking about

fact #2.) the OE tire size is 29.0" tall

fact #3.) 265/35-20 is 27.3" tall

fact #4.) 295/40-20 is 29.2" tall

you get 3 guesses who is right and the first 2 do not count

Touché.

I posted this here, cause I knew you'd have the right answer. I'm ordering the rims from them, cause you don't stock them, but i'm ordering my tires from you. I'll buzz ya as soon as I'm ready!

Thanks, Luke.

Btw, as it turns out, the right wheel size for the ML on that particular wheel is 20X10. What are my tire size/model options and what do you reccommend? would you rather I call you, or can you post the info here for everyone to see?
