frozen wheel bolts
Long boring story so I won't. 2014 ML350 with 19" AMG wheels. Can't get the bolts loosened even with an impact gun. Will take to local tire shop to get them uncorked. In researching the issue here, I saw a remark about using anti seize on the bolts. I would assume this would be applied around the collar of the bolt and not on the threads? Anyone here with first hand experience in dealing with frozen bolts? BTW the lug bolts are the flower type.. 17mm socket needed. BUT somewhere along the line the rear tire bolts got fouled up. The driver side rear has 2 flower bolts and 3 bolts with 16mm heads. Pass side rear has 3 flower and 2 with 16mm. Don't ask me how that happened. TIA and Happy New Year!
