question on 19" ride quality
I have a 02 S430. with OEM 16" wheel.. Car look really plain. I'm thinkin 19" stagger setup should bump it up a bit in the looks.
Also slightly lower to lessen the gap.
My concern is ride quality.. will 19" wheels make the car ride really rough?
I know the air-matic suspension has awesome ride quality.. will 19" and a 1.5" drop screw up the ride ?

Well, it really depends on your definition of rough. Some people dont feel a big difference, while some will think even changing to 17's are rough. Personally, I think a S-class with 19's is totally acceptable in terms of ride comfort. I dont find it rough at all.
