Retrofitting an ABS Sensor

w140 1993 300SEI am in need of an ABS sensor for the passenger side of my car. It is shot, causing both the ABS and ASR lights to go on. The pulse codes are showing it to be an open circuit.

The problem I have is in sourcing the sensor. While they are no longer available, the driver's side sensor is available. Looking at the mounting location, I may be able to jimmy rig a bracket for a “new” driver's side sensor to be mounted on the passenger side.

Has anyone tried this?
Is there a difference in the wiring harness or the sensor that would prevent this from working?
