Is there any difference in ride 16" vs 17"?
I have a 95 E420 with 15" wheels and am going to upgrade. Is there any difference in ride between 16" or 17"? I am looking at AMG Monoblocks or knockoffs. See lots of pics on cars with 17" but not 16". Anybody have a 16" setup you can send me pics of? Both wheels and tires are 20% more expensive for a 17" set. Is it worth it?

The ride quality is more a function of the tires sidewall height.
For instance, if you go from 15 ", likely with 65 or 60 series tire, a 16 " tire would be 50 or 55 series ( lower sidewall ), to keep the same diameter ( for your speedometer etc. ).
Going to 17 " wheel, you'd have to run 40 or 45 series tires.
The lower sidewall you have, the more responsive the handling ( faster steering response ), but your ride quality will certainly be harsher.
Where will it all stop 22", 23" 30".
