235/35/19 on an 05 E320 (Appearance Pkg)?
Does anyone know if I can safely put my 19" ADR M-Classics (235/35 Tires) on my new E320 with Appearance Package? I had them previously on my CLK but they are "shorter" than the current 245/45/17 setup that is currently on. The offset on the 19's is ET39 all the way around.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I personally would'nt reduce the width of your tire, especially since your going up 2 in. in diameter. If you can, after you double check fitment, I'd go with 245s in the front and 285s in the rear...

Thanks for the replies, I guess I'll have to either sell them or give them to my sister for her C240. ![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
My wife was making fun of me for having a set of 20" rims and a set of 19" rims just collecting dust in my garage. I was just trying to put at least one of them to use but I guess I'll be adding a set of 17" rims to that collection when I buy some new ones.
Adam, no I haven't sold them yet. You wanna get a spare set?

Thanks again.
and 19*9.5 w/285/30/19 rear
I thought that was perfect. no rubbing or isssues at all and handling steering feel was improved a lot! some think 285 is too wide for the rear though

no ... the 235/35-19 does not have the proper load capacity for a w211
