Vibration - Balance? Round? ...???
1. I put snow tires on my car (used 3 seasons, never a problem)
2. The rears were replaced with new snow tires (different brand)
3. The fronts were rebalanced
So I have a vibration. I had the vibration before the front tires were re-balanced, and re-balancing didn't help. I don't remember a vibration from last season so I am hestitant to blame the tires.
Also, the vibration is at its worse from 30-60kmph (20-40 mph), is definitely speed dependent, yet gets better at higher speeds. Its also not consistent, some days its gone, most days though its evident.
Shouldn't an unbalanced or out-of-round tire get worse with higher speeds?
I'm stumped. Any ideas?

here's exactly what you are experiencing ... the two different tires you are running have different rolling resistances and that is what is causing the vibration .......

1. I put my 3 season old winter tires on
2. The rears were badly worn and needed replacement
3. The fronts seemed fine
4. There was this vibration
5. I replaced the rears
6. I reblanced the fronts (they were off a bit)
7. There still is a vibration
I have considered replacing all 4, yet I want to make sure its from the tires before wasting $250 (can't return tires!).
What else can I do to see if its just the tires? Rotate the fronts to the back?
My car is going in for service on Weds, hopefully they can answer my vibration problem.
Tonight there was no vibration. This morning there was. I'm still stumped.
