there was a set of 19x8.5, 19x10 chrome LM1s on eBay this past week...search for lorinser and check completed items. I don't think they sold them. The AMG SL 2 piece wheels are nice, but kind of factory looking. I'm a believer in if you buy rims and spend that kind of money, you should make it stand out and be different than stock as possible. The LM1s are nice, but it looks a little like the Carlsson 2/6 original version that i have on my E class as far as general style and build type (both made by OZ using same outer rims and titan bolts, with a dimpled center). It's an older design, so I would prefer the LM5. I'm going to change my CLK rims to LM5 or Kleemann after the first of the year (maybe both). Since I have 2 cars, i can interchange the wheels anytime I want. Right now, too many X-mas presents to buy

plenty...I used 2 bumpers on this car. At 900 a piece, it got a little troublesome. I also burned out tires every 3000 miles at 250 each because of the camber (almost 7 degrees!!!). Plus, the no one could work on it.

hey peter!

So what's the ride on this since it's almost touching the ground? Any rubbing at all? Looks like it's tucked in all the way huh? And what happens if lets say 5 people ride on this car??

very funny guys

it actually didn't contact the road much, it's just that the driveways in downtown are rather steep. I had to be careful. The first setup I had was a brabus kit, and that kit was annihilated after a night out on the town if you know what i mean) It rode pretty rough, and with 5 people, its even worse. It rubbed quite a bit, too (hence the warped fender) to the point i had to replace the fenders. It was at this point that the gun turrets were relocated to the FOG LIGHT OPENINGS out of neccessity!!!!

aren't there plenty of cars slammed like this or lower in CA? I always see them online, at shows, or friends tell me about them. Like this one...

Your one to talk ... Mr. "55" !!!

"Steal" is such a harsh word ... brings with it such negitive connotations:

Knowing what little I do regarding the law, i would never intentionally acquire something that belonged to someone else.

However, I have no problem accepting a gift (such as the pic used in my Avatar, for instance) that came from a friend off HIS hard-drive.

I have no reason to believe, that the pic was the property of anyone else but my friend (a.k.a. 'fall-guy' ... 'buffer' ... 'straw-man').

But thanks for asking though

Peter there are alot of lowered cars in California and even a decent amount of Benzes too that are dropped but I rarely see one where the tires are fully tucked liked yours- its just not common to see a fully tucked E-Class.

You will though see plenty of Acuras, Hondas, Neons, etc. that are fully tucked.

It wasn't my intention to lower it that much. It was actually an inch or so higher. But with time the car started sagging, and the factory shocks blew out. Now i have it right, with H&R springs (uncut) and bilstein shocks. It's prob. right on top of the tire now. That picture was taken 2 years ago. it just started to look childish, if you know what i mean. People loved it at shows and stuff, though. Everyone thought I had "bagged" it .
