Thanks for the bump! When I sent the grill, it was NOT broken. You did not want to get insurance (your choice). I tried to help you out but do to the fact that I have school and work (travel) it was taking me a while. after talking to ups and them saying that they won’t do anything because it was not insured I was planning on buying it back as soon as I got paid which is once a month. Even after you tried reporting me to paypal for something I did not do (they even told you that I did nothing wrong). However once you started posting saying "don't buy from him,” I responded to your email telling you I was not going to help you out any longer. I am sorry you chose to try to intimidate me into helping you when I was already. As now, I am no longer interested in helping you.

bro dont try to make it seem like youve been trying to be helpful throughout this situation...people on the 208 forum know how long ago i purchased this grille from you and now see how many weeks-months after i am beginning to call you out....thus i obviously gave u WAY MORE than enough time to try to resolve this but u just kept BSin me and not responding to my emails......i only reported to paypal because it was about to be the 45-day mark and still no resolution between us so i figured let me take it to them...they said they didnt cover it as long as it was delivered (dont say "they even told you that I did nothing wrong")....

all in all...i dont think that grille was sent to me in tact, but whatever you say...i guess its just my word against yours....insurance matters were not discussed...we just agreed on a price that included shipping and went on from there so dont try to put words in my mouth...

bottom line for the mbworld community......buy your wheels somewhere else and not from him...if there is an issue, hes not gunna be a good seller and help you resolve the problem...just gunna be after more and finally sumore ...dont bother...

IF it broke during delivery...u should have actually helped through the UPS claims process or whatever needed to be done...instead youd reply weeks later after i had to email you several times...and thats if you even replied at all...

for what it's worth. I believe all UPS shipments are covered up to $100. I did a claim without even a single help from the seller when I purchased an HID bulbs from this crooked seller that won't even reply my e-mails. call UPS, and find out for yourself.

you should try that as when i called they would not cover it.

its true, all ups packages are covered up to $100 automatically. i am not sure if the long delay will hurt your chances of getting reimbursed, but its worth a shot.

as for the rift, you guys should probably move on. i have been through my fair share of internet (ebay esp can be a nightmare) deals gone wrong. its usually pretty clear when someone has intentionally scammed you, but it seems like everyones being fairly honest here.

to make you all feel a little better, let me tell you about my recent experience with a body shop selling a painted w211 roof spoiler on ebay. auction stated brand new, painted to match my year silver w211, guy was local, agreed to local pick up, i won the auction.

now the fun begins, 2 days b4 my girl was going to pick up from his place, he emails and says he is out of country and will have to charge me a $10 pick up fee now b/c his worker will have to give it to her. then she picks up, i inspect and see the double sided tape is partially torn off and used, the piece doesnt fit my car, its scratched all over, and its freaking pewter!

get this, guy told me all defects were caused by me after i picked it up...lmao, i must have painted it pewter too!
