He also emailed me asking me to stop posting about him and that he has made arrangements with Shake, this is absurd! What does paypal have anything to do with it, when did it become the ONLY way to return someone's money? CASH in Fedex envelop works just fine, US postal money order, wire transfer, if he had a paypal account then he has a checking account, deduct the $30 wire fee and tell him to wire you the funds , and end it already. He doesnt have the money? Have him meet me at a reputable wheel shop , bring the wheels, have them tested and checked, damn I will pay the $1200 to shake and one of us will have these wheels...., the only problem is that I dont trust these wheels anymore, assuming they are actually his, and assuming that there is no major damage to them , and assuming that they are REAL HREs, given their condition they are not worth more than $1200 if that ! At any rate....enough with the paypal , if he wanted to pay you, then pay you NOW and then deal with his paypal problem. Give him 24hrs to wire the funds, and if not take legal action.

Send him a certified and registered letter, demanding immediate payment within a certain defined amount of time ( 24-48 hrs ) , and if payment is not made, start legal action against him ( as described by Mike , above ) otherwise I hate to say it this will drag on forever!

why on earth would you spend more time and $ sending a letter? i already have plenty of proof acknowledging he didnt pay you! just look at this board! call him up asap. tell him by end of day u need it in ur acct or your calling Miami PD. this is a open and shut case! there are no ifs, ands, or buts about this! If you guys don't agree with whats been done or the action OJ has taken don't speak to him and exclude him from your activites. Trust me at the end of the day if he really made these mistakes and has taken no effort to fix them or his REPUTATION then let it be. That would be a burden I'd HATE to carry especially in such a small town such as Miami.

Guys, I know I have the options you guys gave me...I'm very very very thankful for that but I'm not doing that yet.

I just got off the phone with him and we are both working it out. He really can't do anything with his paypal account right now. He sent me an email of his account proving that statement. He should be getting the conformation letter from paypal hopefully today or tommorrow and then he will pay me back immediatley. He said he has the funds in the account, just waiting for paypal. Thanks guys, I'm just being patient as he is trying to work this out with me.

I have asked him to post on here so he should do so today.

You are now seriously making me question whether you really want your money back. You make it sound as if paypal is the only way to get your money back (there is probably a Western Union at practically every block in Miami)....this guy will be out of the country in the time he has been stalling...he is probably selling everything off right now and using your money for a plane ticket home....

Thanks I appreciate your concern but it does not seem like he wants to leave the country. I REALLY want my money back, If you know me as a person, I'm really chill and give people second chances. He is making an attempt to return my money back. If paypal does not work in the next couple days, we will find another method to transfer the money back.

Well I'm signing out from this thread. They say a fool and his money are soon parted. No comment on your sending an unsecured $1,200 to some stranger (in Miami no less), but if you want to believe his BS about his Paypal being locked and now he cant refund your money and blah blah blah then go for it. More power to Omar, I say. Take this as a very expensive lesson that it sounded like you needed.
