FS: 17" Tires - Continental ContiProContact 225 & 245s

I decided to remove my Continentals and replace them with winter tires. So, I've got the following 17" staggered tire set up for sale:

Continental ContiProContact (staggered setup)

Front tires are 225/45 R17 (fits rim widths 7.5" to 9")
Rear tires are 245/40 R17 (fits rim widths 8" to 9.5")

Tread depth remaining ~9/32" for all tires.

Tires were manufactured in Sept 2007 (DOT 3607 & 3707). I've had them from last November, and they've got ~4000 miles on them. Tires have never been kerbed.

Priced when new = $552 (reference: Tire Rack)
I'm asking $300 o.b.o. Local pickup (Seattle, WA) is preferred, but will deliver at buyer's cost.

Thanks for looking! Please PM if interested.

All bagged and ready to go!

Here's some additional details about this set of tires on sale (since several members have brought up good questions):

These Continentals are Grand Touring All Season Tires. They're non-runflats, so that means no tramlining issues. And they're Uniform Tire Quality Grade (UTQG) rated at 400 AA A. These tires will go a long way before needing replacements. Overall, they offer a pretty comfortable ride with low noise.

So how about it... any takers?

Rick:

I have a Lux [non-staggered, in other words], and would be interested in having the fronts, if you're willing to split them up. I'm in Vancouver/Portland. Price for just the fronts?

Sorry for the delayed reply... was working the entire past weekend.

I'd love to sell just the fronts, however I would not be able to rid the rears then (unless someone on the boards are willing to take the 2 rears I've got?)

Thanks for your reply and interest, jrct9454 I'll PM you as well.

Rick, I'm interested. Why did you go with two sizes like that?

I'm looking to replace my old set for all-season, so these might work for me. But since I have 17x8 rims, not sure how it would perform.

Those sizes came standard for the C300. If I had a choice I would have rather the car come with non-staggered fitment (easier to sell the tires that way lol). The tires will definitely fit your rim width, but I'm not too sure how the staggered fitment would affect performance, compared to what you are currently running.

If you are still interested, let me know and I can try to find out how much shipping is to your location. Thanks for inquiring!
