FS: Extremely RARE Original/REAL SLR Mclaren Turbine Wheels!
I have a set of excellent, just about brand new SLR wheels for sale.
9in ET46.5 Front
11.5in ET44 Rears
Standard Mercedes bolt pattern 5x112
Standard Mercedes wheel hub 66.5
Come with good rear tires (295/30 PS2)
Wheels are just about brand new as you can tell from the pictures. Only one light surface scuff near the value stem on wheel 1.
These retail for over $7000 a wheel. Get the full set with rear tires for only $6500 OBO! That is less then the price of one wheel! The rear tires alone are nearly $1000 (check tirerack).
Now of course, this is assuming you can find another complete set.... It took me over a year and half to finally track down a set, which I then had imported from Germany. Still have all the papers and correspondence to prove it! LoL I had these on my SL, but am thinking of moving to something new.

I don't understand what you mean...I was running them on my R230 without issue, and they will fit E55's with only the need for mild spacers. The BP and hubs are the exact same.
The nice thing is the wide rear stretches the 295 PS2 so they seat better with a slightly stiffer side wall...thus no on power "wiggle" as is often seen by 9.5in and 10in rears running the same 295/30 PS2. (Note the 295/30 is the factory recommended tire size). Basically the tire doesn't "bubble" around the wheel (at all).
The great thing about these wheels though, is you can safely run a 265 F / 305 R without seating problems. This significantly increases both lateral and linear grip! In fact the fronts used to be just that...265/35-19 PS2.

I challenge you to find even a single actual wheel for $1500. The last set sold on Ebay for over $5000 with one wheel scuffed a bit. Now coupled to the very low production number, and given the cost new of each wheel, $6500 is a reasonble start with tires. (Used wheel sets generally sell for a 1/4 to 1/5 of the new price, hence why Lorinser sets sell $1500 or so, H&Rs $2000-2500, etc) Try to find another set...there is only one other complete for sale between America and Europe and they want over $2000 more for poorer condition wheels..and then you have to deal with shipping from Europe. So $6500 it is...but hey...it is OBO. :-)
