I have absolutely no affiliation with the seller, but stumbled upon this listing last night and thought $2k is a pretty good deal for HREs and tires. Again, I know nothing else about this listing, just trying to help out any forum members that might be looking for some good quality 20" wheels.

I emailed the guy he seems legit. IDK why HRE wheels used go for so much when they were made for a MB. There are cheap sets of HRE wheels just not for MB's

I emailed the guy too. he sent more pics but they are all of the same one rim- no pics with more than one wheel. also that one rim is pretty jacked- the outter barrel has nicks, dents, and rash- not the best. waiting on another email of more pics

The numbers he gave me are legit the guy at HRE sent me this. "Thank you for your inquiry. According to these numbers they are, in fact, 540Rs; the fronts are 20x8.5 with 28mm offsets and the rears are 20x10 with 35mm offsets." so not sure if he is legit but the wheels are.

Just got an email back from the guy- he did send me pics... all four wheels- not in the best condition, but he does have pics if anyone is interested-

I bought the wheels. The wheels need reconditioning (lips) and 1 wheels has a bent inner barrel. I'm calling HRE on Monday.

I need help on the tires. Tires are in excellent condition. All matching tires, 90% for the fronts and 80% for the rears. These are Continental Sport Contact III. I'm not sure though if they are the right size for my car. 255/30/20 & 295/25/20. My E350 has CLS/E55 AMG brakes. Will these fit?

I didnt think they would but he had pics of the wheels and tires in his lowered E55 and he said they didnt rub at all. So you should be good.

Rd- I have the email he sent- what's your email? I can forward the pic of his E55 with those wheels. I think they should fit fine- I would fit before refinish- btw what's the estimate from HRE to recondition?

email sent- try velvet touch (mobile service)- I believe they are based out of LA and service from there to San Diego. the inner barrel would be HRE and the outter lip repair should be able to be done by most wheel repair places. good luck

BTW, I'm thinking of selling the tires. The sizes are 255/30/20 (fronts) and 295/25/20 (rears). Even though the original owner of these wheels said he had no problems with these set-up, I want to make sure by getting the correct size for my car. I think I need a 245/30/20 & 285/25/20 set-up.

Anybody needs a set of used tires, let me know. These are Continental Sports Contact 3 tires with 80-90% thread life remaining. These tires are $300-$400 each new.

Make me an offer! I need tires so I can use my HREs.

Those tire sizes arent for W211 E class. If he ran those sizes, it has to be an R230 SL or W219 CLS. u try test fitting the wheel to see where its sitting on ur car? and also if ur going to pay HRE for new parts or refinishing, be prepared to spend as much as you bought the wheels for. PM me if ur interested in getting those repaired/refinish or the lips replaced.

The wheels are being reconditioned. I dropped them off yesterday. I can't wait to get it back. I'll POST pics when it's done.

Now I have to find new tires. I decided to get the correct tires for my car. The tires it came with is now for sale. If anybody is interested, let me know. . .

I just got it back and they look and handle like new. Drove it in the rain the other night and this morning, No vibration at all. I just need my fenders pulled & rolled at little.

Also you said you want to change out the tires, but how is fittment right now with 255/30 up front and 295/25 in the back?
